AI phone receptionist for Canadian small businesses

Your phone rings while you're with a client. Bonjo picks up.

Bonjo answers your business line in English or French, day and night. It books the appointment or the table right on the call, texts your customer a confirmation, and leaves everything for you in one tidy list.

  • No credit card
  • Keep your number
  • Set up in about 30 minutes

The problem

A missed call is usually a missed booking.

You can't stop a haircut, a massage or the dinner rush to answer the phone. Many callers won't leave a voicemail. They just try the next place on the list.

How it works

Up and running the same afternoon.

  1. 1

    Tell us about your business

Hours, services, prices, staff, and the questions people always ask. Pick your industry and most of it is filled in for you. About 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Forward your calls

Keep your number. Turn on call forwarding for when you're busy, after hours, or all the time. Customers dial the same number as always.

  3. 3

Bookings show up on their own

Appointments land in your calendar, the customer gets a text and you get an email. Messages and call transcripts wait in your dashboard.

On a call

One call, start to finish.

Friday, 2:47 PM. You're halfway through a cut. Here's what happens on the other line.

  1. 1

Jordan asks for a skin fade with Marco, Friday after three.

  2. 2

Bonjo checks Marco's actual free times and books 3:30 on the spot.

  3. 3

Jordan gets a text confirmation right away, and a reminder before the visit.

  4. 4

It's already on Marco's calendar and in your Requests. You finish the cut.

FAQ

Questions owners ask us.

Do I need a new phone number?

No. You keep your number and turn on call forwarding, for example when you're busy or after hours. Your customers dial the same number as always.

Will callers know they're talking to an AI?

Yes. Bonjo introduces itself as your business's virtual assistant. Callers who want to reach you can leave a message, and you get it right away.

What if it doesn't know the answer?

Bonjo only answers from the facts you give it: hours, prices, services and FAQ. If a question goes beyond that, it doesn't guess. It takes a message so you can call back.

Can callers book with a specific person?

Yes. Add your staff and their hours. If a caller asks for someone by name, Bonjo only offers that person's free times.

Does it work with my booking software?

Bonjo syncs with Google Calendar and reads iCal links from tools like Square, Fresha, Outlook and iCloud, so it doesn't offer times that are already taken.

Does it speak French?

Yes. Bonjo handles calls in English and French and replies in the caller's language. French is included from the Pro plan.

How is my data and my customers' data handled?

Our servers are in Canada and we work with PIPEDA in mind. Callers are told the call may be recorded. Call data is used only to serve your business, and we delete it on request.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. There's no contract. Cancel whenever you like, and turning off call forwarding stops calls going to Bonjo right away.

What happens after the 7-day pilot?

Nothing is charged automatically, because we never asked for a card. If Bonjo is worth it, pick a plan and keep going. If not, switch off forwarding and you're done.

Let Bonjo pick up the next one.

Free for 7 days. No credit card. Set up in about 30 minutes, with the number you already have.
